Salt Center - Parnell

Early in 2022 the team at the Salt Center were after a new home for their child speech therapy services.
Owner and Speech pathologist, Jocelyn contacted us to see how we could transform this one huge space in Parnell. Previously a Cafe it was converted into a welcoming, calming environment for her team and other industry experts, to create a collaborative hub of sorts.

We met with Jocelyn at the (almost) empty Parnell building to understand her needs and the needs of her clients and potential sub-lessees and talked through options. We took on the project management of this entire fit-out, arranging the flooring, electical and building work that needed to be done to complete the space to a functioning therapy centre and office.
We also fitted the space out with our partition system. Coming up with an initial plan to divide the space into 3 separate offices, a large meeting space and a back area to serve as a multi-purpose, shared working zone using a mix of our modular office wall, glass partition and solid door options.

Pulling from Biophilic design principles the space is designed to bring natural light through the space and is finished in colours and textures that reflect New Zealand's natural environment.
